Yeah...

If we're gassing up the chopper for the sole purpose of telling kids to get out of closed pools... sure, that's pretty messed up and sounds horribly wasteful. I'd bet it's more of a side task that they swing by to accomplish after completing their main goal though.

I guess I thought you meant something else? This is what it looks like today

Edit: because it’s the internet I want to clarify that I am not arguing. Just trying to understand what you mean because if we’re talking about the same intersection I also agree that it sucks!

Yeah, one house isn’t going to make or break the community. But centering the community around pedestrians (and bus riders and cyclists and so on) is what keeps it alive. The more we give up to parking lots, the less lively Hampden will be.

If anything, we should be reducing the number of cars in and around the Avenue. Make the street one-way for cars. Use the parking spots for outdoor dining.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately we're not doing the kind of study that it sounds like you're looking for. However, we can give you the number to our sleep clinic to which we often refer participants with sleep complaints. I hope you reach out and explain to them your situation and they can coordinate with you.

Here is the number: 410-550-6337

Best wishes!

Seriously. It's sort of gone beyond ableist privilege into straight absurdity. I'm a healthy adult and I live about a half mile from there, so it's well within walking distance for me - if I'm getting a bottle or two. But once you get up to a case (which is about the only way I buy beer), then it starts getting kind of cumbersome. A case + something else starts is pretty awkward regardless of the distance.

It's really the only hotpot I recommend to people. I've been to a few in the area, generation hotpot in towson, the hub(next to Iron age in Catonsville) and hot pot hero is really the best option with food choices and how nice the experience is with using the TouchPad

Yeah, some have some great purposes. I'm a transplant in Tampa of 8 years and the local zoo has a marine recovery unit for injured manatees. Makes me feel less sad when visiting. Seeing bears that were "nuisances" moved from places like MT makes me feel guilty. These animals have so little territory now.

Edit: I can't type on my phone

I've done Brew at the Zoo in the past prior to COVID, I'd recommend that one also.

They basically line the perimeter of a field with food/beer trucks, vendors, and bring in live music, then have handlers come in with a bunch of different animals. You can also just walk into the regular zoo at any point if you want.

I assume it's still pretty much the same deal, but it's been a few years since I've been.
