There’s a lot of activity finally happening in that area you mentioned. There are many projects that have been in the works for years, with some big ones finally commencing - those include the old Greyhound station becoming a Squash center, the Mayfair theatre facade being saved and incorporated into new apartments and office space, and 600 N Howard is turning into apartments as well.
Glad it’s finally starting to be noticeable to those not in the development loop!

The old Greyhound station is the new home for Squashwise, and the building across Howard next to the dog park will be apartments.

Cleveland sued, keeping the name and getting a new team was part of the settlement the NFL agreed to so it wouldn't go to trial.

One time I wore a dress my husband thinks looks frumpy & he complimented it. I told my husband, “See, HE thinks it’s a cute dress!” And husband was like “….he literally compliments everyone, that does not count” lol

Agree, I was there once for an Indy500 and aside for that it's a really really boring town.

Are you trying to find a specific restaurant, or just lunch?

Everytime he comes up to me I’m just like “Stinkum, your boyfriend’s car got towed AGAIN?” He usually acknowledges that I know what he’s about to say and moves along.

Similar story - moved out of Fed and kept going to City pets for a while, then got tired of going into the city for it, went to Paradise in Catonsville, then ended up back at City Pets.
I will say that scheduling emergency visits into City Pets is very difficult. They stay very booked and are closed Sunday and Monday. Great for all the normal upkeep, but most urgent matters we go back to Paradise.

ESPN did a “30 for 30” piece on this topic. Look for “The Band That Wouldn’t Die” for a great review of these events!

Reply to David Linthicum’s lawyers suggest motive, liken jail cell to ‘torture’ by Cody_in_Baltimore
From the article
>David Linthicum, the man accused of shooting two Baltimore County Police officers and sparking a dayslong manhunt, fired into a wall of his home in Cockeysville “as an attempt to have himself killed through something popular culture unfortunately refers to as ‘suicide by cop,’” his attorneys said.
That possible explanation for why he first opened fire was among several new details to emerge in a motion for bail that Linthicum’s attorneys, Deborah Katz Levi and James Dill, filed on March 24 in Baltimore County Circuit Court. They’re asking a judge to release their client on home detention with GPS monitoring and the ability to seek mental health treatment.
>
>For almost two weeks after his arrest, Linthicum was kept naked in a cell with a piece of plastic for a blanket and the lights on for 24 hours per day. The conditions of his incarceration in the Baltimore County Detention Center, they said, have hardly improved.
Linthicum is now locked in a small concrete room for 23 hours per day. He has no access to recreation or educational materials. And because of time constraints, he must often choose between taking a shower or calling his loved ones, they said.
“Housing someone who was suicidal to begin with in a jail cell for twenty-three hours a day, with no access to exercise, recreation, or even reading materials, is tantamount to torture,” Levi and Dills wrote in the motion.

HOLY SHIT! I work on chase st un Mt Vernon and like 2 months ago he approached me. I didn't realize who he was. I was paying the meter at the Corner of Chase and Morton around 730 am and I saw him approaching from Charles st. I watched him from my peripheral vision and he reached out to touch my shoulder and I spun around on him. He jumped back and screamed, " Don't hit me, I'm a queen. " lol Then he went on to give me a story about how he needed money to get his car out of impound. I didn't give him anything and he was cordial and didn't get pushy. I just didn't realize who he was.

I bet that Adnan did it. If I were on a jury would I have voted to convict him though? Eh, I don't know. It seemed like there was a case for reasonable doubt. I remember one thing that bothered me was the prosecution using the testimony of Jay Wilds. That lying piece of shit could tell me the sun rises in the East and I would be skeptical.
All that being said I also know that my opinions carry no real world weight. Anyone who claims to know what happened based on listening to a podcast is way to sure of themselves.
