I think you're missing the point, he wants his kid to be able to SEE the game.

I used to do the same. But then I had kids and we got Disney+ and Hulu and Netflix and streaming costs started going up so my $99 a year plan got nixed. It was too much effort to jump through hoops to get the game setup too
I sound like a fucking boomer but…. I miss being able to just turn a tv on with 1 button and quickly flip between channels. Fuck.

Baseball and money go hand in hand. From maybe the second baseball game ever played in 1800-whatever, baseball has always been about money. Everything about the game has been commodified and monetized for decades, on down to the peewee level. I agree that it sucks, but MLB exists to make money for billionaires.

VPN and MLB.tv and then chrome cast to my tv. That’s what I do. Works fine.

The original artist for this concept will be impossible to find and is probably dead. You can find artistic neighborhood maps of basically every city. Some are more text based (like this one) while others are more picture based. I know I've seen text-based versions of the Baltimore neighborhood map for probably a decade and I'm sure it's been around for even longer. I've seen similar in other cities (https://www.amazon.com/SEATTLE-Neighborhood-typography-available-collected/dp/B01A6IENGW - random city that popped into mind and first result of the first search) as artwork, both prints and woodcut. You can even find cutting boards, magnets, etc.
Which artist ripped off this concept and added a spin to it? Now that's a question that could probably be answered. But it's probably better to call it a derivative work. The Etsy shop listed here basically grinds them out assembly line style.

Is Kohls the same as Caldor, because they feel the same?!

Its so dumb. Blackouts should be illegal.
You aren't allowed to consume certain products based on where you live because someone else owns the rights to serve you...sorry I missed the part where I was being compensated for my rights to buy certain things being restricted.

Masn is how I do it. I don’t have cable but my mother does. And I just log in with her Verizon credentials and I can livestream from the website then cast to the tv. It’s a pain in the ass but maybe you know someone who has access and they can hook you up? Seems like every network gets a rotation of the games so you either have to buy every fucking service or go fuck your self basically lol

nobody uses DMV to mean the entire region. the only people who really use it are people in moco and pg who don't want to say "i live in the suburbs"

Exactly. And generally the perpetrators and victims don’t see the police as a resource.

This is how I feel when I see estimates for if they actually decide to build red line after obstructing it for a decade.

Seems really good, and I know a lot less about interpreting crime stats than people at the Hop.

Agreed, expand it and see if you can maintain the results. Other cities should be chomping at the bit to emulate this, too, I'd think.

Skepticism is healthy, but I think at the minimum this means we should fund them a ton more. They are so cheap compared to cops.

Not really, moreso that there may be some external factors that may have been overlooked
I hope that isn't the case, anyone who dislikes cheap and wildly effective violence reduction strategies would be insane.
A number like 20% on something like this is just pretty hard to digest.

According to OP you must now refer to it as "The flat land mass known for wild horses claimed by the states of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia and bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay."

All the renders seem to have that part of the station conveniently cropped from the image
