I don't think this follows at all. Whether/how well it would work outside of dense urban neighborhoods seems to be a totally separate (and possibly more difficult) question than whether/how well it works here.

Blocks the development of tons of housing units and now advocating for tearing down a duplex because “well what can you do…people gotta park I guess.” Hilarious that she served on the housing committee for Wes Moore’s transition team when her record is this bad on the topic.

I'll leave to your judgement if weekly hackerspace Open Hacks could be considered "tech events" - if so, please feel free to include Baltimore Node – and here's a more specific list of our Events - thanks and feel free to let me know any questions (also might be possible to host other tech events at our space, if interested - keeping in mind it would be a group decision - so I can't personally myself commit to anything - but again feel free to inquire if interested)
