That does provide many more neighborhood options. Thanks for the suggestion

Why not just buy one of the historical homes? Guaranteed to be Baltimore style.

We bought a Ruckus about a year ago. Had two of the thickest chain locks you've ever seen, two alarms, and kept it covered on a well lit, busy street. Still got stolen in about three months. We live near the Canton Safeway for reference.
Fun as shit to ride, though.

Ooh good to know! Do you happen to know if they do it in-house or just via pop up?

Do they have any kind of social media presence? I haven’t been able to find anything. I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out!

everyone get a dashcam, and everyone get a Tile to track your own car. I would bet the ramming car was stolen.

I've heard of it happening in other cities I've lived in. The robber rams their car into yours so when you get out of your car to sort out the "accident" they assault you and rob you. I mean, OP could've just been the victim of a run of the mill hit and run which is bad enough. Hopefully this won't become a thing in Baltimore.

In general I liked it. I was there before the first of the two more recent floods, so there was a lot to do on main street. It’s slowly coming back now but that transition has been tough. The CSX line is very loud, but the people I met were lovely and it’s nice to be central to 40 and 70 and 29 for getting around.

How did you like living in Oella? We're going to be starting a family soon and one of the places we're considering if we leave Baltimore would be the historic Ellicott City area.

My office is in DC but I try and be there as infrequently as possible so I can't speak to the commute as well as others here. I will say though, Hampden in an awesome neighborhood. My fiancée moved up here from North Bethesda maybe six months ago and she loves it here. It is one of the pricier neighborhoods in the city though. Best of luck!

They last for years, which encourages me to buy them in 20 packs, which is a great deal. It ends up being less than $7 per trip to DC.
