Halal Food Cart is the answer if you want to take food back to the courthouse. But there are still a good number of old favorites open- Cafe Poupon, David and Dads, Werners, are some good eat-in options. La Calle I think is open at lunch if you want to take it up a notch.

So many people I know won’t bike because of the perceived dangers involved. If we change the perception, more people will give it a shot. I know I started biking more once the MD Ave track was completed.

So sounds like the road diet on Harford Road isn’t the problem, just that you need some traffic calming in your neighborhood. Hopefully your councilperson hears your concerns and you get some infrastructure installed soon.

They just completed a road diet on University Pkwy and it’s been a huge improvement, and I say this as a mostly motorist who occasionally bikes. The road calming has made it less of a racetrack, but has only marginally effected travel time. Win win.

At one time it was absolutely terrible but I had it recently after the renovation and I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the Sichuan dishes. Would try again.

Yeah like.
They had a history of it aaaaages ago. This doesn't surprise me (and is one HUGE reason I chose a different school despite being a legacy).

Thanks for the info! Yeah I plan on going around 7-8 and staying for a few hours before it gets super drunk and rowdy.

Thanks for the response! I was curious, because ever since moving from the Philadelphia area almost 5 years ago, I've been sort of intrigued.
It seems as if every place that serves a Philly cheesesteak puts - at minimum - lettuce, tomato, and onion on it; most I've seen put mayo as well. In and around Philadelphia, that's a Cheesesteak Hoagie, or sub in Maryland. A classic standard cheesesteak is just the meat and cheese, but it's very rare to find any place in the Baltimore area that serves it that way by default.
Ultimately not a big deal, and I've learned how I need to order to get what I'm looking for. It's just been interesting seeing how consistent it seems to be.

They have the Original Cheesesteak Sub:
"Lettuce tomato mayo hot peppers grilled onions and provolone cheese."
The Philly Cheesesteak:
"Lettuce tomatoes onions and cheddar cheese."
But I always get the Supreme
"Lettuce tomato mayo hots green peppers mushrooms fried onions and provolone cheese."
There's always a ton of meat and toppings, and their fries are thick, crispy, and seasoned.
And they're definitely open!

Reply to Hey Baltimore, do you drink NatyBoah when you travel away from the city? What’s your old bay thing? by Oliverstwisted99
I don't drink any pilsners or lagers, so...no Boh for me, ever.
Old Bay doesn't belong in my preferred alcoholic beverages.
