Great idea to shoot this from the ferris wheel!

Thanks for the pointer, I’ll watch out for that one! :) I hear cherry hill is also to be avoided do you know?

Ha, I recommended the little pavilion across the Lake
Latrobe Pavilion it’s called apparently, according to Google Maps

Fort howard is safe and easy. North point is safe and easy. None of the places i mentioned are tough hikes. Just safe little parks with some woods and cool stuff. Be a little weary of armistead park tough best of luck

Clicked into this thread to recommend that little observation deck at Round Falls. The deteriorated path down is key to keeping it private enough
In the same general area, I think the little faux-Asian structures with skyline views in Druid Hill Park could work if you go early in the morning. Maybe share your sorrow with some deer

How about the Moorish tower overlooking the city in Druid Hill Park.

I have actually cried multiple times on this very stretch. It was my route home from work, so it stands to reason. But this would have been my suggestion.

There's one with the electronics ripped out in our neighborhood. I assume this means there's no electronic signal or incentive to pick it up.
So I guess now it lives on the sidewalk in perpetuity until we are forced to drive it to the dump?

Correctly since both behaviors are lazy and entitled.

Thanks, I guess my hiking question was more around what trail should a starter pursue ? And kind of knowledge plus location sort of question. If that makes sense?
I didn’t mention safety but are they all pretty safe around here?

I don’t really understand this post, but I’ll just randomly suggest the relatively secluded section of Falls Road that runs from Baltimore Bicycle Works in Station North up through the switchback bike path entering the south end of Hampden. Especially the half-circle water fall overlook at the base of the switchback (seems fitting).

I live in Charles Village and St. Philip and James has a prayer garden that is supposed to be 'open.'
I tried eating a sack lunch there since it's across the street from my job and was kicked out in less than 5 minutes.
I wouldn't hold my breath that a new church's prayer garden will be much different.

I was able to watch it. Fox sports also has an hour preview for each internet browser used so that works too.

I feel like if we can replace the Flamingo in Hampden we can also replace the guitar from hard rock

I’m generally a fan of a good train cry. Not Baltimore exclusive, but the light rail works.

My wife swears by Merrell shoes. As for hiking. Fort howard, fort armastead, double rock in parkville. Tons of hiking around. Northpoint park.

Definitely. I’ve gotten rims from them before. They’re pretty good and been around for a long time.

They have a high platform to be sure. Also, not sure what a stylist travel shoe is. But I kind of dress like vagabond most days so we may not have overlapping goals in this area.
