A travel mug/insulated bottle of something warm is always pleasant. Hot toddies were always my go-to, but mulled cider or wine are also nice.

Hmm. Good question. I think there are rules to who can and can't sell it. I live in Baltimore County and haven't seen it sold in Dept Stores. But I know over in Howard County I've been able to find it for sale in Walmart and Dicks Sporting Goods. Might want to call around where you live to see if anyone has any before making a trip for it.

Stick to the area directly around the UMB hospital campus. It’s ok if you walk south towards Camden yards, but go in any other direction and it gets sketchy pretty fast. Would not advise going north to Lexington market area

I wasn't being sarcastic, fwiw. Anyone who tries to sell you an opportunity with "hard work" is your absolute enemy

Agreed. The other person is probably thinking of enforcing registration status or speeding/illegal turns on President Street or Boston St/Fort Ave type places.
Lol at some auxiliary officer doing that job in the rest of the city. The city would be paying a lot of claims for assault.

UMB isn't the nicest or roughest part of the city. MLK kinda divides it from the "west" side of the city, which is generally rougher (sowebo/pigtown are on the come up though).
Mt Vernon to the north, and downtown/fells to the east or fed hill to the south are all fairly safe nightlife and walking areas.
Some people think the market is dangerous but I have been there dozens if not hundreds of times and have never been so much as hassled (I am mildly tall white man for reference). Only area around there I would avoid at night is McCulloh Homes, but I am not super familiar with it so maybe others have a better sense.

All I’m saying is the bag in the photo probably costa 3-4 bucks and looks like it’s from some artisanal coffee shop.
Nobody’s putting a tall boy or a 40 in that bag.

And nobody knows what it is either way. That’s the point. This is bad marketing regardless, but using the OG iconic pint of Guinness to market the Guinness brewery is correct. Marketing is about reaching people with things they connect with.

I use it several times a month, and haven't had an issue (thankfully) ever.
Occasionally, while commuting north, they stop for a bit to switch out drivers by the North Avenue stop which can cause a brief delay, but it's nothing awful.
Definitely download the Transit app to find out when the next trains are coming. Saves me a lot of time and headache.

Yes, because it’s a Guinness factory, brewery, etc. regardless of what they make, people will know a pint of Guinness across the world when you see it. Any blonde looks the same.

Honestly, this is fine. It’s not particularly great work, but they pump out hundreds of pieces of content a year just on social media alone (so thousands every few years). I’m not going to make a blanket judgment on one single deliverable…which isn’t really meant to stand on its own anyway, but serve as a feeder to the website.
I also very much doubt the CEO is signing off on every single piece of content — don’t really see the relevance.

Why would they use decorative retail bags tho? Everyone knows what the brown paper bag around the tall boy looks like and it surely isn’t the bag you’d expect your products from urban outfitters to come in.

Or maybe, it has everything to do with how you carry yourself and not the color of your skin. Look nice and walk in anywhere and you’ll get respect. Act like a fool, look like shit, and think everyone’s racist, well…you can get the fuck out or pay $100 to get in.

Maybe instead of putting Bud Light on their advertisements they should be putting something far less popular and less known like Busch Ice

Franciscan Center of Baltimore runs a soup kitchen, helps unhoused and those facing homelessness with help with medical supplies and prescriptions, and offers STI testing.
