Sorry if this came across as too personal. I just think far too many people think recycling is all they have to do to offset their impact. I'm far from perfect, just trying to spread useful information.

Sure, I put plastic in the recycling bin too. But the plastic industry has promoted recycling to make people feel ok about buying one use crap because it can theoretically be recycled. In reality only clean #1 and #2 plastic actually has any chance of really being recycled. Far too many people throw any kind of plastic, clean or dirty into the bins. It's called wishcyling. The manufacturers need to be held accountable for the waste, and stop pushing the cost onto consumers and the government. Single stream recycling is a feel good scam that results in less material actually being recycled.

Theres definitely room to improve the bike share of that figure, and none of it is that capital intensive. It just requires bdot and mdot to be funded to install protected bike lanes and separated bike right of way. But its also important that people live in areas that can facilitate a biking lifestyle, which means transient oriented development, mixed use, higher density, and work a reasonable commute distance. Zoning desperately needs overhauled and simplified throughout the city with parking minimums eliminated and complete streets taken seriously.

My understanding - though this may be incorrect - is that "Reddit Apps" is reflective of the official app across both iOS, iPadOS, and Android. Users who utilize other applications do so effectively via Reddit's API and are not reflected in these statistics.

Hmm, that's crazy to me, I don't know of anyone who uses the official Reddit app. It was an absolutely horrible experience up until like ~2016.

That doesn't specify they're using the 'Official' app.

No adds on Sync, and on desktop ublock origin takes care of them.

If you like sports podcasts these gambling ads are all over that shit, and not just interstitial ads, the content is shot through with it as well.

I would guess there's a decent number of people using mobile apps with ads as well.
