I work in local news, and I think that your story is one more people in the city should know about. I'd love to talk to you (you can remain anonymous if you wish) about your situation and the lack of help you're receiving. Plus, sometimes city agencies won't do anything until they are called out by a report. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in doing.

Just outside of Annapolis is an imported foods store called Tastings Gourmet Market. It's a European style shop that focuses on imported gourmet items and when I was last there about a year ago had a good number of items of French origin. Perhaps give them a call...if they don't have the item, maybe they can point you to a local source.
