Well you're speaking generically and a lot of people over the years have sworn up and down that you can't criticize (insert politician here) and then I have to go through and show all the times that person was criticized where it's plainly visible on the sub. And then I don't hear much after that. Because typically it isn't criticism per se, it's someone on a mission, trying to share someone's personal information or doing something way above and beyond criticism.

We've had people swear you can't talk about SRB. Swear you can't criticize Mosby, or Brandon Scott, or whoever. And it always ends up coming back to something like "You wouldn't let me call them a @#%#$ and post their license plate numbers and personal information. Silenced all my life!!!11"

It's kind of similar to this post. Race and racism get talked about all day every day on reddit, in this sub and elsewhere. Yet people have approached us like "I am not allowed to discuss race on here and it's not fair", when in reality when asked what they want to talk about, they can't articulate it and ultimately its clear it's some over the top "why can't I use the N word when I see THEM say it ALL THE TIME???" stuff.

THIS. Being my parents DD to/from Blobs on any given school night. When I started ballroom dancing in college, they started bringing my dance partner and me out to Blobs with them to cut a rug. What a gem that place was!

You're correct, I believe it was the son who started the Brauhaus. It's is a sit down restaurant and bar. I haven't been in awhile but they used to have live music on occasion. Their beer selection was great and the food was also pretty good. I'd recommend it if you're in the area.

I definitely started out just running in my neighborhood

Use your judgment, try and get a sense of which side streets are nice to run on, and build short loops to get started.

From there if you want longer routes you can build them out of whichever bike lanes or trails are close enough to be a leg on your loop. But I wouldn’t drive anywhere to run, starting and ending at your door is the whole appeal. And practically speaking don’t put a drive between the end of your run and pooping

Yeah. In fact cities/contractors have been caught making yellow lights shorter because it increases ticket revenue. But it also causes more crashes.

You're really just asking for something that allows some company to skim money from people (because the vast majority of the money goes to a contractor and not to the government).

It's worse for people in basically every other way.
