I’m a Baltimore native but my octogenarian parents still live here, and I keep having to come back and help so I’m trying to base myself out of here and get rid of my outrageously expensive New York apartment. This will sound incredibly snotty, but I grew up in Homeland and Guilford, and about 15 years ago, my parents moved to Timonium…which I HATE. I love the old quirky neighborhoods of NYC and being able to walk to whatever I need, and I used to have that ability in my old neighborhood. You know of course that NYC is the capital of being able to get anything and anywhere you want at anytime, and I know exactly how you feel. The only thing I can think of that’s remotely comparable is Fell’s Point and South Street Seaport.

What do you mean HVAC you mean make sure it’s running through vents?

Yeah I would argue that part of your problem is that you’re in a suburb. The closer you get to the city center the better it feels.

I know the Lidl on the National Pike and the one in Columbia have fresh baked German stuff .

No they have German sourdough bread farmers bread and German dinner rolls pretzels and do on . It tastes just like from a German bakery. It’s so good . I’m German and I was so glad to see Lidl starting to bake and sell that stuff . You can slice and freeze it. I usually do and take a couple slices Pop them in the microwave or toast them but it’s best when it is fresh . With just butter on it some cheese or cold cuts omg I love it . ( my friends love it too)

I ate lunch there once. It was decent but I think we’d like to avoid Inner Harbor. Appreciate the suggestion though!

Only facts here but I had Dr Burkhart replace my shoulder and required revision within a year. The placement of the appliance was incorrect. Just a fact.

So, I was called for jury duty today, and let me tell you, I was not excited about it. Spending all day in a stuffy courtroom listening to boring testimony? No thanks.

But I had a plan. I heard there was this strip club not too far from the courthouse, and I figured I could sneak out during lunch breaks and catch a quick show. And that's exactly what I did.

Each day, as the rest of the jurors headed to the cafeteria for lunch, I snuck out the back door and headed to the strip club. I loved the cool air conditioning and the dancers. And today, I splurged and paid for a private dance in the VIP room. It was amazing. The dancer was gorgeous and put on a really seductive show for me.

But my luck eventually ran out. During today's trial, the judge called me up to the stand as a witness. I was a mess. I could barely focus, thanks to the heat in the courtroom and the previous night's activities in the VIP room.

The defense lawyer saw that something was off and grilled me. Eventually, the truth came out. I was found in contempt of court and sentenced to a week in jail. All because I wanted to have a good time at the strip club instead of fulfilling my duties as a juror.

And as I sit in my cell, regretting my poor judgment and the fun I had at the strip club, I swear I will never let my desires get in the way of my responsibilities again.
