I've noticed a trend that most of us don't really have people around us that also read. And some of us that do have 1 or 2 people around us that read they read books that are nothing like the ones you read. I'll use myself as an example, I've been an avid Stephen King reader since I picked up reading about 5 years ago and would love to discuss his books with people around me but the only people I know who also read are my daughter and she's mostly into fantasy YA. I tried to get her to read the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson and she's showed no interest no matter how hard I seel her on them so instead I'll be reading Loki Where the mischief lies since she recommended it. My gf reads mostly books she finds off booktok and tmdoesnt really care to read anything I've read or am reading so I decided to read the last book she read in Verity by Colleen Hoover and lastly my close friend who mostly reads Mexican American women empowering books, I haven't decided to read anything she's read yet ha.

But I would love to be able to discuss the Dark Tower with them, Firestarter, Mistborn, The Martian and so many more. What are some books you wish the people around you, reader or not would read and discuss with you?
