I literally could not stop reading, was smiling from the attitude of all the characters and genuinely caught off guard by some of the twists. I love how the main character explains the actual numbers of what's happening, it makes the scale of everything feel so much more terrifying (Hundreds of kilometers per second, dropping 200+ nukes on Antarctica to cause MORE climate change due to the sun getting colder?!) And the main character's friendship with Rocky the alien is so funny and feels natural. Just an absolutely amazing book overall, better even than The Martian. One of my favorite books of all time, hands down.
