So in recent years I've noticed that basically I could get my hands on any book on any subject at any time at my large research university centrally located in one of the biggest learning hubs in North America.

And I read very very broadly: politics, philosophy, sociology, mathematics (by trade), science, comic books, language learning, art history, creative thinking, novels, history of sexuality ... and I'm just listing some of the stuff I currently loaned out of the library.

How true is the statement that nobody reads anymore? Or is it just physical books? Maybe people are still reading a lot privately on their kindle or something.

What's your observation and opinion on this.
