I love Neil Gaiman, he's one of my favorite authors, but he named the protagonist on one of his books "Shadow Moon". Why?
It's just this one dude who has a stupid name. It's been a while since I've read it, but as far as I remember it's never explained why his name is like that.
Also, I don't know if this is just me, but all three of Harry Potter's kids have bad names. You have James Sirius, Lily Luna, and the worst, Albus Severus Potter. None of them sound good when said out loud. Specially the last one. I could write a dissertation about why that's a shitty name.
Edit: I just learned that Shadow Moon is supposed to be Native American, so that explains the name.
