I recently got a new book and just started reading it today, when I noticed those tiny little white bugs running across the page. I killed it but soon after I saw another one... and another one... So I googled and found out they're booklice, and figured out I can freeze the book to kill them and their eggs. However, I just looked at my book shelf and saw a bunch of lice crawling on top of my books...
From what I gather its partly dust collecting and humidity, so I put my dehumidifier in my room and cleaned the books, but I am wondering if there is anything else I can do. I cant freeze all the books unfortunately so is there any way I can get rid of them?

Edit: First of all thank you for all of your suggestions! Seeing the lice ruined my entire day and I did a bunch of article reading you guys linked and other stuff I kept googling, because I couldn't concentrate on work...
A few of the solutions I've found are "Book Lice Killer Kit for Home" on amazon as well as "Diatomaceous Earth". I'm going to buy these and use them ASAP and fingers crossed for results. Currently I have my dehumidifier running at max speed in the room with all my book/paper stuff. And I've put out some lavender balls I had near the infested areas. And just did a general sweep/hoover of all the shelves & books.
If that doesn't work I'm going to get some ice boxes and try to bundle freeze books using dry ice. As I only have enough space in my freezer for one book, and over 100 book collection...
