Okay, so maybe this has been said here already, and I’m sure a bunch of us actually know this already, but what the actual FUCK.
I just paid $16.99 for the ebook of Stephen King’s, Fairy Tale. The most expensive ebook I think I’ve bought to-date. What’s worse is most of them are now $12.99-$14.99 on the regular. More expensive then the paperbacks and even some hardcovers I’d buy ten years ago.
I feel so sick to my stomach. Never thought it’d be too expensive to buy books.
Amazon even charges a monthly fee for their Kindle Unlimited books now which honestly, don’t even have a very good selection.
I know libraries and certain apps have borrowing options, but I just wanted to rant about book costs for a minute because it’s so out of control.
