(I know it's not about the numbers but the answer would really help)

Exclude audiobooks. I love them but exclude them.

  1. do you read a little bit every day?
  2. How many days to you take to finish a book?
  3. do you feel you need to rush?

I started consuming audiobooks about 7 years a go. I love them, I consume all kinds and I even have a system of taking notes.

Recently I was on holiday and I picked put my first ever physical book in my native language and read it. The experience was different from how I remember it. I lost track of time.

Based on that experience, I now started reading From Dawn to Decadence, 500 Years of Western Cultural Life, a book that I wanted to read for years but it's not in audio format.

I love the fact that I am reading a little every day. I love that I am losing myself. Previously a part of me know I was reading and it was a struggle. (I think listening to audiobooks much have taught me how book writing is structured, hence I am completely relaxed)

But I've been reading for 3-4 days and I have only read about 100 pages

So I am wondering if those that read one book a week, do you read every day, or does it not take you a week to read a book but that you just have a few days to allocate to reading?
