A good one to you!

I just finished reading Kingdom of the Feared, and I'm sorry I sound like a dump person: But I think the characters in the books were switched. Like... I've gotten myself into a completely different story plot and was entirely changed. Kerry's writing style emphasizes which character is which and switches between them and their personalities. They are one at one point and another at another. E.g., ''Nona Maria is protecting the girls.'' Next, she hates them and thinks they're evil. The other was that the plot in the last book was very political and was only about some boring politics. I don't know if that makes any sense. But how can you take a potion not to love anyone when you're cursed not to love anyone? Like dude, you're cursed - why have to damn yourself evermore?

Moreover, I couldn't tell if the feared were Vittoria and Emilia in general or if there were other hell gods. There were clearly mentions that there were other hell gods. But the book emphasizes that the girls were the only feared out there as daughters of the crone. Do you feel confused like me when you read the book?

Vittoria and Emilia were the feared, referred to that way because they were bored immortals and so they apparently did heinous things because of that boredom

But in the book were mentions of other hell gods. That's gotten me confused.

That's because at first there was a Curse preventing the prince's from telling Emilia who she used to be, so as a work around the Curse they would mention the "feared" to her as if the feared were something else entirely and not just her and her sister. So Emilia and Vittoria are the "other hell gods" its just at the time no one was physically able tell them that lol.

That empties some thoughts. Were you surprised when Nona Maria revealed her ''true'' personality and that she placed the human hearts?

No, I figured she had some not so nice secrets when she opened a portal in the floor in the first book.

I think she is still nice at heart, she just has some bad views on the world which has caused her to do bad things.
