That is so incredibly sweet, thank you <3 my local second hand bookstore is really good at finding books for me for really cheap, so I don't want you to waste your money on what will probably be an outrageous shipping cost. My country's postal service is also absolutely terrible, and I think your kind gift would just languish in a warehouse until the end times. But again, thank you so much!

A constant struggle for me… just one more chapter! I often read at night. Sometimes you have to just set aside the time or pick a firm stop in the book. Sometimes you just have to pay for the sleep deprivation! Some books are worth it.

Well, this hits home. Been stuck at about 3/5 of the book for about a month. I had even bought the paper copy, since i had heard it was such a good book.

i will definitely finish it, since I paid for it, but so far it is quite muddy and slow. Also I do not love how the characters are developed.

You can choose books that are less emotionally intense and thought provoking while you are in school. Anything described as cozy or light would work. Also journalistic nonfiction as long as the subject isn't tragic.

You always have the option to combine reading and productivity with audiobooks while commuting or doing chore-type-things. There are so many good books free on the Libby app and at your local library.

Hope this helps!

There's a bunch of decent ones, the two that have stuck with me throughout the years are the Bookchemist and Better Than Food Book Reviews.

Leaf by Leaf reviews a lot of obscure book. R. C. Waldun isn't great too although his channel is not solely for book reviews. My latest favorite booktuber is Man Carrying Thing.

Since you already watch Steve Donoghue, I'd just pay attention to the other channels he interacts with and branch out from there. They'll often comment and he'll mention them in his videos as well.

Seconding some of these!

I think Cari can read reads a good mix of YA and adult (more heavily leaning towards adult) and I like the way she formats her channel. She also has such a chill, cozy vibe which I really enjoy.

Uncarley is hit or miss for me, but I think that's just because we have wildly differing tastes - the chaotic energy she has is pretty fun. She's definitely worth a try if you're looking for non-YA content.
