I would want to give and receive different opinions and what people thought of certain scenes or quotes, less factual but a bit of Jane Eyre trivia could be fun. Good luck!

Warriors by Erin hunter, it's kind of infamous among people who were young in the 2000s LOL its about a society of cats living and fighting in the forest. So much drama and violence

As Ever, Gordy. By Mary Downing Hahn
The whole Gordy Smith series is great, As Ever, Gordy is a really good melancholic novel that puts you in the shoes of a misbehaving kid in a world that doesn't seem to want him.
I can't say much else without spoilers or references to the other books, but it's stuck with me for at least twenty years as one of the best fiction books I've ever read.

Slightly unrelated but if anyone ever has the opportunity to see the Dorian Gray stage show by the Sydney Theatre Company, you absolutely should. It is AH-MAY-ZING.

I just cry it all out lol. Best way out is through, the sooner you let it out and just feel/embrace it, the sooner you can experience it all again :)

One of the only two podcasts I listen to reads that, and Dorian Gray (and a bunch of other books and stories). It's called Definitely Storytime.

I used to belong to an all woman’s book club and we only read female authors. Our book club did not survive COVID. Honestly, just do a quick search on ‘Jane Eyre book club questions’ and chose the ones you find most interesting.

You didnt state any opinion, so how am i not showing any respect for a nonexistent opinion?

I didnt say that i live by these 6 "lessons", so it doesnt matter if i do sth that is not according to these points. I am just saying that this book seems unoriginal, if this is all one gets out of out.

In my memory Dorian was a very petulant, spoiled, dramatic kind of character. He pouts, he whines and he is vain. It has been a decade, but that's what I remember mostly from the book. Great read. I'll see if I can find a copy again.

Haven't read anything by Oscar Wilde since I was a teenager. Might be time again.

Not as intuitive or effortless as you’d think though. Your reply, for example, neglected points two and four.

Not the book you are looking for, but you may also enjoy the bizarre ‘As she climbed across the table’ by Jonathan Lethem, about a wormhole into - possibly - another universe, and a researcher who falls in love with it.

You might not realise this now, but I hope that one day you'll figure out that your view on women is being shaped by frequenting parts of the internet which are populated by misogynistic men who have no understanding of, or empathy for real women, and instead have built a false idea of what women are like which makes them feel better about themselves.

Apparently inspired by 'Against Nature' by Joris-Karl Huysmans
