Hello, my husband and I have lived in our rental for 4 years. I also operate an online business from there. Our landlord suddenly passed away in September. We were not told and found out by googling after there was a change in where the rent was sent. Months go by, and at the beginning of February, the sister of the deceased landlord calls and says she may sell our unit. She also sent an appraiser. It is now the end of March and their estate lawyer called to say an eviction notice is coming for May 1st. We are tenants at will since we had an agreement with the deceased landlord. Our lease ends on July 1st. Do we have rights to stay here until July? It would be impossible to find a housing situation in 30 days. Again, my business is also here. Help! We also have mold in our closet.
