I usually stand near the doors during my commute, cause I sit down for work all day. Some dude didn't like me leaning against his arm and slapped me, broke my glasses, and pushed me on my ass out of the train.
Edit: thanks to everyone who has said words of support. I admit that the "I hate this city" part was largely caused by the adrenaline-induced frustration of the moment, and I apologize to anyone who may have been offended or taken it personally. There are many good people in Boston, many of them life-long friends, and it isn't fair to judge all based on one person's actions.
As for those blaming me for getting slapped, well, I hope others are more understanding if/when something like this happens to you.
