I have a friend moving to Boston soon and they need street smart tips to make it easier to survive in Boston.
I know some people carry decoy wallets with fake cash and burner phones. In the event that they get mugged they will give these up to the criminals and keep their actual wallet/phone.
This seems like a clever defence strategy.
