I’m only half being ironic. I’ve honestly never witnessed a grassroots initiative started before my eyes and it’s been fascinating to watch over the last 4 years in the US. I’m rooting for Bike Gang.
I don’t think equating a traffic accident with murder can be anything other then rhetorical though, so I do honestly agree with what you replied. Just want to make sure Bike Gang knows I’m one of the Good Ones and won’t bash me with a kickstand in 5 years when this inevitably reaches its boiling point

Charity galas often have lower prices for “young professionals” if you fit in that group. If you have any Harvard-affiliated friends, see if they can get you tickets to the Viennese Ball at the Harvard Club. It’s already sold out for this year, but you might be able to get tickets if someone decides not to go.

The fact that’s a certain lifestyle is glamorized amongst certain groups is more problematic than them growing up in poor neighborhoods.

The fish are older and the water's been changed. But the penguin exhibit smells....the same.

Good idea! The Boston Winter Ball is itself a charity gala, just a very well publicized gala. Now to go scrape Google for "charity galas in Boston"...

Look into charity and nonprofit galas. Most will have something similar, though ticket prices can be high (since it's a donation, y'know.)

About once a decade feels right for the Aquarium. Boston's Aquarium is pretty meh compared to a lot of other cities honestly, I wish we had something nicer.

Are you frequently in the position of standing outside holding an umbrella for 8+ hours every day?

There isn’t a thread in which radicalized Bike Gang of Boston will not inject itself. It’s legitimately my favorite part of this sub.

There are a ton of very poor Central Americans in Boston and they almost never kill each other. Poverty is part of it but not the whole problem

Swing by Fields Corner. There’s a large Vietnamese population here, it’s basically a 360° fireworks show come 12:01.

We did this exact conversion and got a quadrafire gas insert from Yankee Fireplace in Middleton. It has a blower with different speeds so you can get as toasty as you like. We are very happy with it and we get it maintained/ checked every year.

Either that or the one with the Cisco logo on it—purchased the single time the owner has been to Nantucket, which was Memorial Day 2018, where he spent a few grand to share a house with 20 other dudes

Wait which bikers are you talking about? The vroom vroom I like how the vibration feels on my taint ones or the ones that blow through stop signs and red lights in their compression pants?
