Where do these people go when the T closes? They can't just live outside like in California.

An absolute shitload, there's a multiyear wait for more space right now because COVID caused us to make so many huge breakthroughs in biotech that are all moving forward at the same time.

Did you lose them or were they stolen? Your comments are not consistent and the difference is very important.

I bet $1.35 the actual number of residential units gets significantly reduced, like what happened at the new "mixed use" space by the Schraffts building.

911 will transfer you to the MBTA police, if that were true.

If you don't mind being out of town and more rural just keep driving out Route 2 and housing gets less expensive. See esp. places like Gardner (an hour from Lex.) and Ayer/Groton. How about a 14 room country estate from 1780? Only $1.1m! https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/518-Farmers-Row-Groton-MA-01450/57066974_zpid/

Probably because they don’t have jurisdiction on the T… need to call the MBTA Transit Police

You know I always hear you no broker fee folks mention Craigslist. I use Zillow etc as a landlord and tried Craigslist in the past. I’ll never use it again. It’s full of scams and the leads generated have been nothing but crap. My recommendation to you and anyone who reads this is to look at the other more common sites as well. You don’t need to be a broker to post there.

It's easy enough to get a place in Boston with no broker fee in my experience. I've never paid one before. Just look on Craigslist for no fee listings

Assembly Row for one and plenty in downtown Boston. My company was looking to get out of their lease in assembly but the market sucks, no one is looking to buy/rent.

I've lived near the subway but outside Boston city limits all my life, never paid a broker fee

Are you stuck in 2021? Biotech is certainly not crashing down, but some R&D had been fired and many large companies have hiring freezes in place

No. She is a good person. She doesn't want to violate the privacy of all of her valuable clients all because you lost something. The reality is that you don't know if it's a theft, any variety of things could have happened accidentally by someone. Someone could have picked them up in error thinking they were theirs and now they've ditched them in the stairwell of an apartment complex. Move on, the world does not revolve around you.

Interesting. Not working in that neighborhood anymore. They have parked there for as long as I can remember.
Wonder what spurred that.

Im sure the board will demand its scaled back to 40 multimillion dollar condos so extra cars don’t ruin the character of the neighborhood.
