Well what do you want us to say? Rent ranges wildly based on a bunch of factors and it’s not really going to help you to hear a range that varies by thousands of dollars

Not sure why this is being downvoted. This is sound advice. Sucks that this happened to OP, but flipping someone off can instigate the wrong person in the wrong ways to do the wrong things and if you’re not carrying (which I doubt anyone in Boston does) then you might feel very unsafe.

Apple care is 30 for AirPods. And does not cover theft.

Buy a pair of $7.99 wired earbuds at CVS. They can get stolen (lol)/lost/short out 20 times and you've still spent less replacing them than what you'll spend on new Airpods.
