You may believe that, as is your right in this great commonwealth, but for I, Boston is the most treasured place on earth. I shall sing it from the rooftops, as the great Eddie Murphy once did on his trip to America!
As I said however, I’ve only been to other civilized countries, so I’ve never been to France. I hear people like Paris but I am scared of baguettes (inferior to our Boston brown bread!)

Depends on what your budget is. Downtown hotels are quite expensive. If money is no object, The Newbury is your best bet. Set on quite literally one of the best parcels of land overlooking the public garden, Newbury Street, and Comm Ave, it’s got beautiful views and is walkable to almost anything. Exemplary service, beautiful historic luxury property (it was formerly the first Ritz Carlton) with large and beautifully renovated rooms. Boston Park Pkaza is also in a great spot, but offers the option of small rooms (like 160 sq ft) at a reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. Moxy on Tremont and Stuart is a nice modern hip brand, small rooms but fun atmosphere. Area can be a little wild at night but still safe

At the moment that seems to be the case. Personally doesn't seem to be a whole lot different than the current HD over the air signal. There are supposed to be some interactive features but I don't think anybody has utilized them yet.
I will reserve judgment until I connect my antenna and I will give an update later.

Ah, so maybe it makes a certain amount of sense then, given the state of things.

Channel 5 says they are, starting today.
PBS should already be broadcasting the signal.
That's the only two that I know of at the moment. After my lunch meetings I'm going to connect my antenna and see what the deal is.

Every working American deserves a pension/retirement you are just talking nonsense suggesting cutting them off.

Yes, hence my comment that it’s mostly tied to the fact that the US has shitty public transit

Right? I was amazed at how often there are power cuts after winter storms here compared to the UK. The difference is lines are buried in the UK.

Maybe cut them off from it entirely then. Pensions are for people who deserve them

The police should be forced to pay these out of their own operating budget. Commit a beating? Guess you guys aren’t getting new batons this year then cause the budget for that is going to the payout

They worked 24hrs around Sullivan too but... like two nights a week. Most of the time it was a 9-5 (more like 7-3 because God forbid construction workers ever keep normal hours).

It was so much better 15-20 years ago it's crazy. I wish you could have all experienced it right at the end of the token era before charlie cards. Shit just worked.

It's a train term that comes from an earlier horse term, so it's really old slang. It's the V shaped part of a track switch.

It's been a few decades since I was in my 20's, and I never want to arrive anywhere sweaty, but I've always lived my life -to the best of my ability - thinking 7 generations in advance. I'm not anti-car so much as I am wanting cities to be more forward-thinking and find alternate methods of travel within their borders. Unlike rural areas dependent on individual modes of transportation, cities, by their very compact nature, can make major adjustments in their methods.
