No, it really wasn't. She was the hook used to set up a much larger point. Her failed mayoral campaign was setup.

Campbell was never better than a distant 3rd longshot mayor candidate in terms of profile and prospects. You can't fuck up an election you had virtually no chance of winning.

Then go to other city subs where you think you might want to move then. How is a Boston sub supposed to help you with advice about living somewhere other than Boston? And why are you still responding to me when you’ve deleted this post? Go away OP. Seriously.

Did you even read the article? It was all about Andrea Campbell failing to get enough black voters to win mayor of Boston.

Are we even talking about the same Andrea Campbell?

You know, the Andrea Campbell who became the 45th Attorney General of Massachusetts just a year later?

Looks like she realized she fucked up the Boston election, got her shit together & put in a much better campaign for state AG.

That whole article was about the most stupid piece of reporting I've ever seen. That white male reporter obviously had his own agenda to write about & even then, he, like you, seems to not pay attention to the fact that Campbell used lessons from her defeat to win the race for state AG.

Nut dust can float impressively far. But you need to be on the extreme end of nut allergy for that to be a risk. There's tons of published research about it and the risk is SUPER small. Most people with nut allergies just have PTSD and are overly cautious. Which isn't a bad thing as long as they're not letting it ruin their lives or using it as an excuse to make other people miserable (like pushing to ban pb&j in schools 😒)

I asked for advice on cities where the smell may be less pungent. I have tried inhalers and they do not work well. I did not say I didn't want to talk about it, I responded to another person's post on someone saying I should see a therapist. I'm not looking for attention. I'm genuinely looking for advice on other places to live, so you don't need to be a jerk.

OP - unfortunately you’re going to have to move to the ‘burbs or move to a big city in a state that has not legalized weed. Google can tell you where it is/isn’t legal.

You can have a pretty good life out in the ‘burbs along the subway or commuter rail.

I used to be a member until the pandemic so it might be outdated, but I never had issues canceling in person. When they were shut down during the pandemic they charged everyone for April of 2020 when they had been closed since March which was obviously horrible, and they made it impossible to cancel memberships until they reopened a few months later. In general they were like most gyms with all sorts of fees and regular price increases, but they also were the most widespread gym in the city (it was the only gym with locations near work and home for me at multiple offices and apartments).
