Good call, real cooks and Chefs cook on gas. Much quicker and more even heating, responsive temperature changes, and instant cool down if you need it.

Not sure home people cook things like eggs on electric coils or ceramic? I feel like it always burns that way and induction is great, but expensive, so unlikely unless it's a pretty high end apartment.

Anyway, good luck! You might be able to see gas meters on the outside of the building, which would be a good hint that the Apartment Complex likely has gas stoves.

After all the emphasis Baker gave this problem while in office, it wouldn't surprise me if instead of leaving a traditional farewell note to his successor on his last day, he dropped a 2023 MBTA outage schedule with a smiley face scribbled over the top on it.

They do not. I've worked there for a few years now in research administration. Buried deep in the HR website there's a list of what they test for and it lists THC as something they don't. If they did I wouldn't be working there.

Norm would never live in the Seaport. There are no good bars to be a regular at.

That said, Sam lives in the Fenway area to relive his glory days.

Coach lives in Brighton.

Carla is in Eastie.

Frasier is cambridge.

Dianne is beacon hill but is ashamed of her privilege and says she lives in Mission Hill.

Cliff lives with his mother in Charlestown.

Norm lives in Allston and is a regular at the Sil.

Woodie still lives in southie.

Rebecca lives in Brookline.

Lilith is somerville all the way.

There's a few places I'd recommend.

Anywhere in Chestnut Hill is fine. Beautiful area, fairly peaceful, safe, walkable - and has a some greenspace. It's an unofficial neighborhood that's made up of parts of Brighton, Newton and Brookline.

If you want something a little more 'fun', I would recommend Cleveland Circle in Brighton. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to BC campus, there's a lot of students in your age bracket - and you'll have access to the Green C Trolley to get you in and out of downtown in a reliable amount of time. The C goes through Brookline which is an beautiful affluent area, plenty of mom & pop businesses & good eats. Super convenient if you're ever going to a game at Fenway Park, a concert at House of Blues, a date at the Common, or anything like that.

Brighton Center works as well. There's more grad students and young working professionals than Cleveland Circle. Great bang for your buck. It's about the same distance to walk to BC. Unfortunately, the closest trolley is the B line which is the slowest of all greens. It's usually faster to take buses.

Newton Centre is great, but it's more.. families and stuff than 20-somethings. It's also more expensive.

The few times I've had to rely on this bus, I've always waited for 2-3 buses past the one I expected to catch

I started calling the 86 "The Phantom Bus" in my head because Google Maps will say "in 3 minutes" and the next time I check, it'll say "in 11 minutes" as if i missed the first bus with my eyes open
