You realize that the blue line was built long before air travel was commonplace, right?

I'm a New England republican type (if such a thing still exists) and I won't give this party a nickel until all of these assholes are gone

Baker couldn’t bring himself to suck up to the MAGA people. I remember a bunch of Trump supporters in Falmouth waiving flags and signs before 2020. I stifled a laugh. They looked ridiculous. And then last October, the frowning older white men and their sad looking wife waiving Diehl signs in Sudbury. Boy those people looked they’d bought into the “chaos in the streets” rhetoric of DJT. Just melancholy people longing for the 1950s.

They do tho. There are free shuttle buses that take you to the blue line…they run every 3-5 mins.

The MBTA was there BEFORE the airport was built. Gotta go find the Massport gang if you wanna kick balls.

This sounds correct. I remember a couple of years ago when Jim and Marjorie asking Baker if he’d vote for Trump. Big sigh. He couldn’t support Trump. That probably pissed off the AWM in the Mass GOP.

The 504 has been horrible since they consolidated it with the 502 bus. I don't think it would have saved you much time. I would have done the Red Line to the 71 or 70 bus like you.

I’d do the Blue Line from Logan more often if it was free like the Silver Lie. Yes, I am cheap lol.

Dude, on Monday afternoon, it took me 1hr and 10 minutes to drive from Norwood to Somerville which was about 15 miles. Fucking insane.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think the Blue Line used the loop.

Yeah, if MassGOP was living in the real world, they would have supported Baker and would have likely held on the Governership and picked up a few down ballot positions, as well. Who knows? But, instead, they chose to indulge their fantasies and run a guy who embodies their darkest desires, but can’t actually manage to get elected to anything ever. Going all in on bad judgements. I’m a democrat, who almost always votes for democrats, but I was generally happy with the work Baker did. But MassGOP has managed to make themselves completely irrelevant to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Technically, it was was not reversed. The airport predates the "Blue Line," and even the "East Boston Line" (the same service before color names were introduced). It does not, however, predate the BNH North Shore Railroad that used the same right-of-way.

I did it at Haymarket. It's a pretty simple procedure if you have all your paperwork in order (you have the title signed over, letter indicating the purchase price, etc.). The hardest part is getting an appointment. You can either spend a portion of your day hitting that refresh button for your RMV of choice, or get an instant appointment a couple of hours west..

The 77 does this all the time, it’s super frustrating when you wait an extra 15-20 minutes at a stop just for 3 of the same bus to pass by you as soon as you get off.

The people who vote in GOP primaries don't make decisions, they lash out with blind hate, and vote for anyone who will do the same.

> I’ve always heard Bostons airport being so close was a pro
I saw an old ad for one of the airport hotels that said, "Conveniently located 1 1/2 miles from downtown Boston!"
I had to laugh to myself at the people who booked there not realizing that they would be an hour and a half away too.
