Try leominster, you wont believe the difference from watertown You will be out in 15 minutes. So you can wait in waterown for 2 hours or head out to leominster and be back home before your number is called. lol The drive from boston is more than 30 minutes but its not a bad ride out route2. I used to live in brighton and watertown was a nighmare for anything.

Watertown was my go-to RMV for decades, but the appointment system has brought it down a bunch of notches. I made an appt to get something done at 2 in the afternoon a couple of months ago, and the line of people waiting for walk in transactions was a couple of dozen people long. Right as my time was called and I went in, the representative came out to let everyone in that line know there would be no walk in appointments.

Good way to supercharge that new years diet! /s

Likely a bug. Just lay low, sleep a lot, stay hydrated. If you can't hold stuff down for more than 72 hours check in with a doc. Dehydration is serious.

I graduated from BC in 2017 and lived in Coolidge Corner, Brookline my first 2yrs out and loved it! Relatively close to campus and easy access on the T Green Line (street level trolley) but it feels more like an adult neighborhood. If you also want to do more stuff in Boston proper, Brookline is a nice in-between spot. Lots of fun restaurants, shops, and parks in Brookline too, definitely give it a consideration

Boston social Discord server: https://discord.gg/jzmpywRZkE

I'm on this Discord server pretty regularly — especially during work hours — but honestly my best social experiences have occurred when I've narrowed down an interest and found people with that common interest. With randos it's much more of a gamble of finding people you'll click with.

Hahaha same, talk about a lie with the name of the Blue Line station being "Airport".

Does anyone know the history of why they wouldn't have just built a 1 station extension or some kind of People Mover to the actual Terminals? Like they have in Chicago, Miami, Madrid, Barcelona, Stockholm....I could go on and on about cities that have trains that go all the way to the airport terminals.

Veggie Galaxy

  • Their vegetarian version has the cheese curds.

  • Their vegan version has a nutritional yeast-based cheese sauce.

I've tried both, and I think the vegan version is objectively tastier. I order it literally every time I go there.

this happened to me the other day. the worst part, there was some Irish cop funeral happening, and there were a bunch of uniformed cops talking on the sidewalk. so i had to walk through them once, where i could feel them all looking at me, and then i saw by bus zoom past me.

then to add insult to injury i had to angrily walk back through the group of sad Irish cops 🥲

I did this but decided to go to the RMV in Braintree because I figured it would be less busy and had parking. I was not able to book an appointment online so I called them and was on hold for 2.5 hours. There wasn’t really any other way I could find to get an appointment. Once I was able to talk with a real person I ran through all the documents to make they sure they were filled out correctly and they scheduled me for the next day. It was pretty quick when I got to the RMV, waited about 15 min for my appointment and the actual appointment was like 10 min.

I know but the discoverability is poor because they tend to be away from where the silver line stops. The silver line is on the huge map of boston public transit and those buses aren't. You have to keep in mind that tourists have zero idea what they're doing (nor is the burden on them). They then have to figure out how to purchase a CharlieTicket. Even I didn't realize that the 22 and 88 come every five min or so. I figured they had same frequency as silver line.
