Painters are in pretty high demand in greater Boston. Because they usually do all the prep at once, it ends up being disproportionately more expensive per sq ft for a single room than for a larger space.

For a single room, I'd try checking with a handyman too to see if they might do it cheaper, since they charge by hour of labor and the nature of their work means they may be able to squeeze in the waiting steps of painting.

DIY is also an option but when we did our place, with full time jobs and our (lack of) skill, it took weeks to do a few rooms. We hired a pro for stairs and for the rooms with vaulted ceilings and they finished in 2 days. So next time we are definitely just going to pay painters lol.

Yeah I mean there is a discussion to be had about how society truly doesn’t not care about there after effects of pregnancy and mental illnesses that can come out of it nor proving the necessary care, like all that is valid but it’s very disturbing how I have yet to see a post that sympathizes with the two fucking children dead, the baby who will be traumatized for the rest of their life and the husband who now has to live with the reality of two children dead and a baby holding to dear life and the murderer being his wife who will never see the outside world. I personally am always gonna have more sympathy for the kids.

Park at Wellington or Sullivan Square and take the t in from there. Alternatively, the commuter rail from Haverhill or any of the northern stops that have parking. The North End is a PITA for parking if you aren't confident in parallel parking or dealing with buses, cars, bikes, pedestrians, and the occasional 3 point turn for the fire trucks in the neighborhood

I don't know anything about postpartum depression but I know my mom had it and did not kill me. So I honestly don't know. Other people say it's unbelievable what it can do to you.

Edit: I'm legit wondering why I am so heavily down voted. I am legitimately asking a question I know nothing about.
