$950 is not expensive.

What will they be doing? Prep, patching, priming and 2 coats of paint? High quality paint like BM or SW? I would be surprised if you could get that for $950.

Absolutely agree. But if the state makes tuition free, then students can use the federal Pell Grant to cover more of their living expenses. Still inadequate. I think we need to have free tuition and really increase financial aid to cover student living expenses and basic needs - like housing, food, and transportation

And it was the 1600s, atrocities were taking place literally everywhere in the world by pretty much every group that had any power. It was a lot worse back in England under the rule of the Anglican church and king. Even today, atrocities are committed by Americans all the time, but anyone looking back 400 years later and acting like all Americans in 2023 were evil and corrupt would be seriously lacking in nuance and context.

It’s old but for TV I think Crossing Jordan is great. She’s the archetype for Boston women. Smart, cool, aloof until she trusts you, but will do anything to help someone when she believes the cause is just. Also Fringe and Leverage, though only some seasons are set in Boston.

Don’t know where you are located but we’ve worked with Ryan Painting for both interior and exterior work in JP and Brookline homes. We had them do significantly more work than just paint so it’s hard to compare costs, but I can guarantee you’ll love their work.

It’s about the system failing and an unimaginable tragedy happened that can’t be put into words. To think in this state, with her employment options the system failed so bad this was the result. Imagine what the options are for others. Her insurance and hospital frankly couldn’t recognize this and mostly likely put profits ahead of inpatient care and time off. People are broke, and dealing with all this stress and all the money in the world goes no where when help is needed in 2023. A lot of people should lose their jobs and go to jail in this case too.

Matthias at MZ painting did a great job for our home. He did interior and exterior and prices were more than reasonable. He worked cleanly, cleaned up well and very respectable dude. MZ Painting

>I don't really follow your last point. Because it was psychosis and not psychopathy, that makes her less of a murderer?

It was a response to the comment that someone can be sick but still a killer. That person isn't that person, they're the illness -- and post partum psychosis is usually treatable and not permanent. It's akin to blaming you for a dream you had.

>I just get the sense that if this wasn't a wealthy white family there wouldn't be as many heart emojis floating around the internet for someone who violently murdered three babies.

That sounds like you are projecting your own baggage onto the situation? I can't speak to the heart emojis you are seeing somewhere, but when these cases come up (and if you search you'll find them) the response is generally shock and that it's a horrible tragedy.

You see the exact opposite for something like Munchausen by proxy cases, or the rare cases where a mother actually is a killer and something happens to a child so she can be with another man etc.

Try dry vaping. Edibles are annoying AF. They take hours to hit. Then you have no idea how long you’ll be high. That said if Garden Remedies still uses that good Belgian chocolate—that was a very delicious high.

"psychosis hijacks your brain"

It alters your perceptions, it does not alter who you are. Even in the depths of psychosis a person is still aware of themselves. Destruction, self harm, lashing out are all understandable from someone at their most desperate and confused. But child murderers are just child murderers.
