Club Cafe, Cathedral Station, Legacy, Alley Bar, Trophy Room, Midway, Diesel Cafe. 5/7 of those mostly cater to gay men, the queer women’s scene isn’t great. Boston isn’t “super straight,” we just don’t have a huge nightlife scene, gay or otherwise.

There were more a few years ago but they’re not extinct. Search the Reddit and a couple will pop up.

I’m ancient so I don’t know the hot spots, but they’re out there for what it’s worth. Unfortunately there’s not a district

Brookline, Somerville, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and West Roxbury are all neighborhoods in the Boston area that are located near the marathon route. Brookline is known for its vibrant downtown area and proximity to Boston University. Somerville is a diverse and artsy neighborhood with a lot of local restaurants and bars. Jamaica Plain is a historic neighborhood with a large park and a diverse community. Roxbury and West Roxbury are more residential neighborhoods with a mix of houses and apartments. All of these neighborhoods are easily accessible via public transportation, including the subway system (MBTA or "the T"). You can expect to travel around 30-40 minutes to get to the downtown or Back Bay area, depending on the specific location within these neighborhood and traffic.

I had a couch that somehow I got in here. I hated it and was like someday I’m gonna take a hatchet to it. Lo and behold when it was time to move out, it didn’t make it though the halls (insert friends joke). I was like me and my friend got it in here? they took a hatchet to it!

It’s for the construction of new “income restricted” housing in Fenway. I also had a downstairs neighbor last year in Back Bay that got an after hours permit for their renovation even though the delay for it was because their contractor never showed up. Seems pretty easy to get one.
