If you're tired of "burrito" shaped burritos and wish you could pay more and have a burrito shaped like a grapefruit, you always could try Chipotle... and then remember why you never get Chipotle..

I'm like next door to the Av right now. Might just settle for that. I'll see what she wants. She'll be taking an uber up here soon.

The point of my comment was to not blame the husband but rather the system. It falls on insurance companies and the broken mental health system.

The Hopewell should be fine. They make cocktails, burgers, and have a decent beer list. It's right off the B Line.
If it's too busy, The Avenue next door is a good plan B.

There’s a seed swapping group that I’ve seen at the Somerville winter farmers market on Saturdays, you might be interested in joining them

Tufts is not in a good place financially but I don't necessarily think they're in danger of closing down within the next few years.

Reply to Where are the queer bars/places? by ravenclaw188
the queer nightlife here has become largely event based. Sapphic Saturdays is tonight, but sold out as far as I can tell. LGBTQ Nightlife Events organizes a lot of events (particularly sapphic ones) in the area and is currently working on building a new queer bar. additionally, Queeraoke is a beloved local fixture and Club Cafe tends to have a few nights for the ladies here and there

Some of those listed have areas that are frequent fliers for gun violence and homicides. I'd rather give our guest a heads up to check out the relative safety of some of these neighborhoods before committing to one.

Michael's Deli has them. PG claims they get all their bagels from NYC too.

Reply to Any insight on working at Tufts Medical Center? by [deleted]
All of the hospitals in the city are having financial struggles, along with hospitals nationwide. Boston has too many academic medical centers for the size of the population, which hurt Tufts children’s (Floating Hospital) - they were competing with Boston Children’s and MGH. Tufts will be fine for residency. They are somewhat protected as the teaching hospital for Tufts Medical School - if the hospital closes, it would be tough for the med school to continue, so they are too big to fail, so to speak.
