the only thing i really use my series x for recently is backwards compatible games because my 360 is pretty loud, i mainly play ps4 but it depends on what type of games you like and what you plan to use it for

Same, I’ve had my Xbox series x since 2 weeks after launch, and I haven’t noticed any changes since I got it. My Xbox One S hasn’t slowed since I got it 6 years ago, and that was using it heavily and forgetting to dust the vents.

There are no perfectly designed games - at least not complex modern games.

Some games are good in spite of - and sometimes because of - their ‘flaws’.

People on the internet say stupid stuff. Attack something they’re passionate about and buckle up…

Ratings are made from subjective opinions. And people who write about games, like anything else, become a groupthink culture. Clickbait aside, they tend to think within the lines.

Find out what you like, and play those things despite what anyone else thinks.

Ps5 for the exclusive and the dualsense (which are awesome).

XboxSX for the gamepass.

Both machine are almost identical specs wise.

I personally am ps5 (always has been sony) and ps5 is perfect. Better games, VR compatible and better controllers.

Think..

The last of us God of war Spider man Uncharted .. ...

Enjoy ;)

If you don't want to spend too much and don't need want to use your old discs use the series s because it's such an amazing upgrade from the 360 but if you have extra money buy the series x it's worth it in the long run because more space and also you have a disc drive but it's entirely up to you

Tbh. Even though your laptop doesn’t run “heavy games” you can still play most xbox games there, and you can always use xcloud. Get a Ps5, the series x would be wasting money. I myself had the ps5 a series x and a laptop with an 10th gen i5 and a gtx 1650. I just sold my series x cause it had been over 8 months since I last turned it on. Meanwhile I daily drive my ps5 and whenever I wanna play something from Microsoft I use my laptop or xcloud on my phone.

Xbox is more backwards compatible, the whole "easier to jump in if you don't have an established past with them" is taking Sony's lack of maintaining a feature and acting like it's an attractive selling point.

Sony has some great first party exclusives, Xbox has some greater utility that spreads back to older generations, the PC, and a multi use controller that connects to PC and smart phones easily

Both are always comparable, play the one where your friends are at the most.
