Steam Deck unless you care a lot about graphics

Do you have a good gaming PC? If not then get a PS5. A Steam Deck is a great handheld to have to supplement your gaming needs but I would NOT recommend it as your only legit gaming device.

In my opinion, I think both but if I had to choose, it would be the Xbox s because you can get all the PC games on there and they have more exclusives like game pass and warzone. But really its up to you.

Possibly the stupidest reason ever to switch consoles. Plus the Xbox series S is meant for online play an online game downloads so you would be moving from physical games to digital only. It’s a console that was largely useful for Xbox game pass.

It you have the money why not both, the Series S has good sales and it wouldn't be a big deal. Personally I'd get the X bc I think the S is a bad investment long term. That console is gonna be weak and limited in a few years when they start really making big games for this gen.

In my opinion, It would be the Steam Deck as it's basically a computer because with a dock, you can connect it to a monitor and use the deck as a controller. Speaking of controllers, the SD can connect different controllers.

For the PS5, I would wait for the slim to come out.

Nah dude buy a series x, series s has half the storage of older consoles and its full digital, so yeah just get a series x and gamepass

Stop and think about how stupid of an idea a post like this is and then maybe just post your favourite console or game and explain why it’s your favourite (positive points. Not negative towards the competition) and start a conversation that way…there’s a reason why your polls don’t stay up…if you can’t figure it out, you should just stop posting to Reddit all together

Depends on your current need to be fair. For me it would be a much reasonable choice to go with Steam Deck because I'm rarely at my home, but if you dont go out much, I would go with the PS5. And I think (I read somewhere) that in 2023 there will be a new version of the steam deck and the PS5.

All I will say is, those games you mentioned will come to PC at some point anyway so you will be able to play them on your SteamDeck plus lots of other games that absolutely won’t come to PlaysStation

Ps5. And the 2023 ps5 only has 1 minor difference from the current PS5 I'm not sure what it is but going by my (crappy) memory they're removing the disc drive to make an all digital version or adding a fan somewhere
