I just sold my ps5. Became tired of their high prices, and their shitty deals. Plus I have a mid-range gaming PC I from now on will play some of their "exclusive" on. Also have a xbox series s I play on.

They didn't. The performance is highly dependent on the game. I know this is true because part of the repair process we do when fixing busted hdmi ports is to test them. We let them run for about 20 minutes on our 4k test tv. We have copies of madden 22 for both, and we let the ai play a game against itself.

Having seen this for dozens of hours on both I can safely say that they are near enough identical.

Lmao you clearly didn’t read those two articles. That or you are just oblivious to what any of it means. The series outputs more power and quality do to the “differences” in their hardware. They share some common grounds but microsoft did go above and beyond to make the series x out perform the ps5

Because the PS4 had a notoriously weak CPU the day it came out. The PS5 doesn't, and it is a much more balanced console. The mid-gen refresh was also partially because of 4K TVs going mainstream and the base consoles being far too underpowered to take advantage. There's no such shift in screen tech this time around.

"Dummy" indeed.

I have taken many apart as I work in an electronics repair shop. Today I've done 2 ps5's. Yes, they are practically the same hardware wise. There are minor differences but the end result is the same. If you don't believe me check wikipedia.

So I'm not really understanding your logic.
If a new system is released and it is in the same line as the switch then wouldn't the switch be able to play new games released on that system. And if the switch can't play those games why would you encourage them to buy the lite or oled instead since those would also be unable to play new games. Especially the oled which is more expensive then the normal switch.
I'm also not sure where you got that they won't release anymore switch games after march. I tried looking it up and the only thing I saw was that the someone theorized that the last big game for the switch would be the new Zelda game. But that's only a theory and also according to on the Nintendo website it's expected to be released in may.

I keep repeating it but the xbox series x is stronger. Just the facts But the difference is small so it doesnt really matter choose what you want to choose

i have a ps5 and a series s. Both of them are really good, xbox has gamepass, which is incredibly worth it, and ps5 is backwards compatible with ps4 games so i can still play all of my ps4 games

depends. Do you like games like mario, zelda, pokemon? get a switch. Are you into any of the playstation exclusives? Get a ps5. I have both and i enjoy them both but it's a matter of what games you like. Also something to consider is that switch games are still expensive and never go on sale

Yeah. I spent a while looking for one that wasn’t overpriced or required you to buy additional games and warranty just to get It.

It was just luck I went on the Best Buy Canada website and my local store had some.
