You mention portability. Think about how often that's what you use (or have to use if TV is out of use) that should be a deciding factor.

I recently sold my PS5, not long after getting my steam deck but that is more down to the fact that portable is where I play most of the time. I played lots of remote play when I had the PS5.

The TV experience of the PS5 is much better than a docked deck. But the steam deck is capable of many things and the price value is insane. It's a PC!

Then there's also game prices. Much cheaper on PC. But can you wait a while for those new releases? I know I've answered your questions with more questions but they should be the deciding forces. It's your call 🙂

I've been holding off on getting a Steam Deck because I'm pretty sure there is going to be a Steam Deck+ or something like that announced in 2023. It's always like that with hand-held systems. On the other hand, they are also going to announce a new PS5 in 2023. So I don't know man I'd hold off about 6 months if you can on both of them until you find out what's happening with both of them.

PS5 for sure. The steam deck is a great device but you are going to have many issues with certain games until they are ironed out. Ps5 until the deck gets better.
