Bought a ps5 earlier in the year pretty much collected dust until their was an exclusive worth playing. Also wasn’t impressed by how you had to pay to upgrade a ps4 game to ps5 which Xbox does automatically. Game pass is a steal for trying out new games. Performance wise they’re the same which is just under a mid range Pc.

No , PlayStation is a glorified 3rd person movie player machine .

Xbox has gamepass , smart delivery, and a way better outlook in 2023 and the future. Sony is moving towards live service games as Xbox is expanding their library to offer multiple choices from each genre . Not milk the franchises to death with Remakes. Just wait for spider man 2 and / or wolverine

Personally and not to be a dick - probably should have thought about this pre-purchase of the Xbox. If you sell up you’ll lose value which isn’t what you want ultimately. Having said that you are missing out on exclusives and you’re reducing your gaming experience because of that. It would be a personal choice. It also depends on your financial situation, if you can afford to save and pay for a ps5 then do that and keep the Xbox in the event that you’ll want to play exclusives on the Xbox. Additionally you can use the gamepass and psnow to open up more “free” games that you can play at any point (as long as they’re in the library) At present deadspace is on gamepass for free as well as the fable games… there are others as well and it’s seeming good for what it is. In terms of ps you have castlevania, ps1 games like Toy Story, demon souls and you have other really good games on psplus

If you want better games, get the ps5. You have time to save up for a Series X before its next gen titles start dropping. Right now, all of their games are still playable on Xbox One. The only ones I'm aware of are Starfield, Elder Scrolls and something else. None have release dates yet, just 2023 release windows that could very well be pushed.
