I have both and use them frequently! All depends on your play style and what games you like. I’m a die hard Nintendo fan so I always get my exclusives, and the switch is super nice when me and my fiancée want to just aimlessly game on the couch with the tv on in the background. But for my more intensive large scale games I’ve been digging the ps5, making my way through Spider-Man is amazing. I always played both switch and ps5 Witcher versions and definitely recommend the ps5 route for those types of games.

But majority of people buy the rechargeable batteries and it’s not eco friendly to use those batteries as you go through loads. You literally use the cable to charge and that’s it… you get two controllers with the ps you get 1 with Xbox 🤷‍♀️ literally every Xbox owner I know has this same gripe. Bit weird if you take the batteries from kids toys to sort your own toy out as it’s selfish 🤷‍♀️ buy a battery grenade at least so you avoid that. If the controller is your only thing then you need to actually ask yourself why you game as there’s a lot more than just a controller

Replaceable batteries are a big advantage of XBox controllers. If you have kids, you have AA akkus anyway. 2 sets of these means only a few seconds break to change them if they go out, no cables ever. Plus when they die you just get new akkus, not a new gamepad.

It’s levelled Basic you get 400+ games plus live Medium you get 500+ (I think) and live Platinum package you get 700+ games plus all the ps1 games and live I think I pay £13 a month maybe £14 and I go for the platinum

The controller to be fair is personal preference This may have been true for last gen also but this gen not so much. The controllers now are fairly similar.

Con of controller on Xbox - you have to buy charging less if you buy the power back, batteries or whatever to constantly change the batteries which are awkward to get in… ps you just plug in to charge

Con of PS5 - it is big 😂

Con of Xbox - exclusives are piss poor imo and not one Xbox exclusive has ever won game of the year. They might win awards but not specifically game of the year. Many ps exclusives have

Con of ps5 - the library is extensive and can make this hard to choose and for the full package it is slightly more expensive than Xbox but not by much

Make sure that when you pack your ps3 in your check in bag, pad it. You need to be comfortable with tossing your luggage about 2-3 meters away and 1-2 meters high. They will put your check in on in a luggage cart, lift it by the handle and will hammer throw that bitch onto the cargo conveyor belt.

It's true that there is no option in game (for example, MW2 crossplay disabling is a PS5 feature and this depends on the Activision sode), but you can block the crossplay in the Settings - Account & Privacy Online safety from the console for every game.

I wish the crossplay could be only with consoles...
