Crossplay is big now, but ultimately it's upto you.
If you enjoy the Xbox UI and games stick with them.
If you're interested in the PS exclusives try them out.

Reply to Would Nintendo games be better received if they were on a different console? by Different-Relief-228
A lot of Nintendo games take advantage of the system their on porting them to systems that don't have motion controls or the switches touch screen won't work on systems that don't have those features

Reply to What is the best stick placement offset sticks like Xbox & Nintendo or symmetrical sticks like playstation or maybe even wii u pro controller stick placement? by Tail_sb
I’ve found that for any game that requires the d-pad regularly in very quick intervals having them like the Xbox controller can save so much hassle and reduce the loss of control while using it compared to other controllers

Personally I am ok with either. The only problem I have with controllers sometimes is going from Nintendo's button lettering to Xbox's.

Maybe you've got a better rate in your area. I looked before I posted and it's still $1 for the first month and $14.99 for each additional month for me. PC Game Pass was $1 for my first month and $9.99 each additional.
For that price, someone could technically get PC Game Pass and PS Essentials with the PS5 Collection. For me, Game Pass PC and PS Premium is the best value but there's something for everyone.
English is fine. I understand you.

Actually that's incorrect. PS Now launched in 2014. Game Pass launched in 2017.
Currently, PS Premium offers about 800 games for $120 per year and Game Pass Ultimate offers about 470 for $180 per year.

I disagree but I don't have a need for cloud gaming. I don't think the extra $5 a month for Ultimate is worth the 20-30 additional old Xbox games (minus the PC games) and the cloud gaming. PC Game Pass is only $10 a month as opposed to $15 fo Ultimate. I'm sure cloud gaming is worth $5 for some people though, for sure.
Either way, this guy just wants to know if he should buy a PS4 Pro or PS5. I only brought up Game Pass as a cost comparison to the PS Extra subscription.

Xbox game pass has cloudgaming. But you are right in one thing, you should not get the pc game pass, you should get the ultimate game pass.

All the big cross platform games should support cross play if they have multiplayer so whether you're on Xbox or PS and your friends on either or shouldn't matter.

Honestly it's variable. The switch pro controller is the best first party controller hands down, but I have always preferred the PlayStation layout of symmetry, but I also use a 360 controller for PC games that need it.
It really all depends on the situation and the game you're playing and sometimes doesn't matter at all. For me it's more about the comfort and features then the stick placement. The 360 controller is the best most ergonomic controller ever and is always a joy to use minus the d-pad, the switch pro has the most features and is the best overall, and the PS4 controller is great for games that use the d-pad as much or more than the analog sticks, since they're out of the way when you don't need them and the d-pad is good. Even the Wii U and Steam controller's weird layout works in some situations, as the Wii U ends up being the same situation as the ps4, with a good d-pad you can use with the joysticks out of the way, just up instead of down. It just takes a little getting used to and some button remapping if you're not using it on a game optimized for it. And the steam controller is in a league of its own, being focused on the touchpads mimicking mouse input rather than joysticks, and with all the customization it offers creates its own special use case that can be unmatched if customized correctly, it's just a little extra work.
All in all each controller has its place, and while some may prefer one over the others because they like playing a specific type of game or simply are just used to the layout, having so many controllers and consoles has made me realize no layout is truly better than another.
Except the N64 controller. Fuck that thing.

I also have game pass so that's not an issue. I'm not big on exclusives. My main thing would be wanting to still play with friends without having to buy twice
