Who gives a shit about the tech? If that's your bag get in to PC gaming. Consoles are all about the gaming experience.

The switch cannot play every steam deck game, but the steam deck can play every switch game.

I have no interest in animal crossing, but I checked a certain site. Animal crossing seems to work perfectly fine.

You have to be a Nintendo exclusive fan. Like a fan of Mario and Zelda. For this console though I would actually go beyond that, fire emblem fan and Bayonetta etc. Im sorry but it is an awful third-party console. Where the games cost at least £20 more on the switch that the Xbox One or PS4. Also If you had a Wii U I wouldn't bother, if you didn't and like Nintendo then go for it.

I would question the cost of it, but thats about it, considering the original is still a pretty hefty price tag compared to the OLED version...having said that I am quite content with my switch (original) but would if the price was right maybe (pardon the pun) switch to the OLED or wait and see if they actually do bring out Pro version...

I got a Switch in June after a few years with my Xbox One. Both get used regularly; the Xbox for anything multiplatform and the Switch for Nintendo exclusives or anything I might want to jump into on the go.
If you're after portability or good options for local multiplayer, Switch is a solid investment.
