In my opinion you want at least 1Gbps minimum service with a good router and unlimited data. And if you're gonna go the wired route, a 10-port gigabit switch and an ethernet cable of the right length for each console. I have 3 PS5's, 2 PS4 Pro's, 2 OG PS4'S, and one Xbox One S all on wifi with Xfinity 1.2Gbps service with unlimited data. Only once have I had everything going at once. But no one experienced lag. People like to bag on Xfinity. But I've never had any problems with speed or customer service.

A basic 1gb switch will do perfectly. Anything more than that is overkill. Just get decent cat 5 cables too and they should connect without issues.

Is it slim or fat model? Propably you got worn laser assembly. For ps slim it's dirt cheap and very simple to replace. On the other hand I would just mod that console. Then you could lunch games from pendrive and improve load times.

Yeah, kinda. The game has no upgrades on next-gen (because R* hates us) so it doesn't look any different on Series X/PS5 vs. XBONE/PS4. It would run better, especially in 4K, but the graphics won't really change. It's definitely better than playing it on XBONE/PS4 but don't get your expectations too high.

Both PS4 pro and One X versions of the game has 4k resolution but in checkerboard rendering. Only improvement PS5 and Series X brings to the table is a stable 30 fps as the game has not been updated for current gen. Also One X version probably has better texture and shadow quality since that was the stronger hardware.

You can play first RDR on Series X and it's stable and beautiful, which is a big win.

yeah i cleaned that part already so far nothing. HOWEVER my copy of NBA Street so far is the only game to play. I actually bought a copy of GTA San Andreas today and it still doesn’t work and the back of the dvd is super clean so it must be the console having a hard time reading most of my discs

This is true, there is a noticeable difference between the ps5 and series X , with the series X coming out on top. I primarily use my ps5 for its exclusives and everything else gets played on my series X.

Playing on Series X looks significantly better than PS5 version. Series X version is true 4K whereas PS5 is not.

I went from a ps4 pro with an SSD upgrade to a PS5 and noticed an improvement. Mainly in framerate stability. It's just really smooth on the PS5. I'm assuming it's the same on the Series X.
