I can play Xbox games on PC with Xbox play anywhere and although my Dualshock 4 controller is my goto controller for PC gaming none of the PS exclusives interest me so I just stick to gaming on a PC and Switch.

So I voted PS5 only because I feel if you have a decent gaming PC there is no need for the Xbox Series consoles. If we take the PC out of the equation the Xbox Series paired with Game Pass is the best route.

Nah the Xbox isn't the far better console. Ps5 has a much stronger game library and gamepass is filled with mid games and hardly any 1st party games. I much prefer the ps5 to my old xbox

2. you have more space available (1 TB vs 825 go)
3. Backwards compatibility

Why? I got a series s, yeah not as powerful but the games and user interface on Xbox is pretty lacklustre tbh.

That's fair enough then, if there is a solid reason to wanting to trade then go for it. I'd personally keep the series X and maybe just get a cheaper ps4 for now, and wait for a BIG game for the ps5, unless Ragnarok will be a lot better on the 5 than the 4

yea I wouldn't turn it on. If it got inside you will blow it up. Like the other comment says you'll need to take it apart and check the interior. Clean it well especially if you have any cats.

The only exclusive I’m looking forward to playing is God of War Ragnarok. Honestly the biggest downside to Xbox that I just hate is the fact that I cannot capture in-game chat in any of my clips. It may seem minuscule but I’m so used to doing that on my (now sold) PS4.

I just really don't think the PS5 is worth it at this current time. I've still got my ps4 and not even considering switching to the 5 until GTA 6 is released. If you've already got the X I'd stick with that, I guess it all comes down to which exclusive games you'd prefer. Or just have both consoles

Also look for low latency ("ping time") rather than bandwidth. And yes definitely wired ethernet rather than wifi for the same reason.

Look up "Dreamcast teardown", open it up and check the rest of the interior. If there's no sign that it got inside, then hopefully you're safe and some Retr0brite should be all you need.

I have both ps5 for the haptic feedback the controller is the star of the show. But x box gamepass trumps ps+ every time even with ps+ premium.
