I own a PS5, XSX, and PC. Initially before owning the XSX I played exclusives on PC. But honestly nothing beats the simple plug and play on the Series X. PC can get a bit irritating after driver updates and all that.

I have a gaming PC and PS5 hooked up to an LG CX along with some other consoles.

I mainly rotate between the PS5 and PC with the PS5 getting the most work.

I've always wanted a disc version. For you, go for the disc. You never know what will happen to the games that are digital until it's too late. If you get banned, those games are as good as gone. If there's maintenance, those games might get locked until you can play again. The PS5 disc version may be more expensive by $100, but it's worth it in the long run.

My suggestion: look for a cheap second hand Xbox One X (not the Series X), I've got one and it's awesome, there's a lot of 4K 60 fps and 4K 30 fps games for it, specially Halo. they look gorgeous on a big TV.

What I say is true. There are very few xbox games, all of them old, that the PC can't play. And there are a ton of pc games that the Xbox can't. A PC plus PS5 gives you access to so many more games than a PC plus Xbox.

I have the one with a disc, but I barely buy any discs. I’d recommend getting the one with a disc if you buy discs, but if you regularly buy games digitally, then go with the digital version. Albeit it’s always nice to have a disc reader, because you never know what can happen. Also, you can borrow or buy second hand discs for cheap.

If there’s ever a potential if you moving to another country, or if you want to have the same library of games in more than one location digital is a better choice.
