3dtv's didn't have a whole host of game Devs and players behind them watching the new releases and the tech evolve and working along side it.

VR is here to stay, I doubt it will reach zucc's dream, and it will probably remain primarily in the gaming space. But it's not going anywhere.

Get a Playstation. If you're dead set on portable gaming get a Steamdeck.

Nintendo's exclusives selection isn't worth the cost of a Switch. Most of the games available for the switch are cross-platform games and indie games.

So, unless you're dead set on only playing a Switch once or twice a year when a nee Nintendo gsme rsrely comes out go for it.

My Switch has been collecting dust ever since I beat Calamity Warriors.

PS4 for sure since switch after a year or so the controllers get drift but a ps4 controller gets drift after 8 years and the switch battery life drains faster after a couple of years

Just get a steam deck you can play everything on that thing and the price is a steal! You can emulate the switch on it meaning all switch games are free! Steam games are also very cheap in the sale. So its a win win!

If you like the PS4 games the most, I think you should go for that route (if portability is not essencial for you). Moreover, you will gain an extense library of games, so you do not worry until PS5 will decrease its price, eventually.

With the addition of the PS5 I’d personally wait till it becomes a little easier to purchase. in the meantime get the switch because of the unlikely new console to replace the switch anytime soon. Then again that’s just what I’d do.
