Series a by far much better deal and with game pass ultimate is like a dream only had to buy 1 of my games out of my currently downloaded 24 games Only problem is storage but I bought a HDD to load all my Xbox one and backwards games on as only 6 of my games are series s/X You have full compatibility on Xbox , a much better UI and far better deals especially with game pass ultimate compared to ps plus gold

When it comes to Xbox Series S or X, the X is only useful if you have a 4k TV/monitor imo. Most game stores only sell new tripleA games these days anyway and there's enough sales and games included in things like Game Pass to keep you satisfied and saving money. The only thing you'd be missing out on is cheap preowned games. It felt weird not having a disc tray at first but it hasn't stopped me playing any games or cost me any more money than having one would've, especially considering the series X costs nearly twice as much as the S.

I personally have a series X and it's great I can have the digital experience , the best graphics and old games and close reach as most of the old 360 games are still expensive on the market but super cheap on disk . Xbox UI and overall feel is so much better aswell as full back compat and nice exclusives Ps5 is nice and a goooodd console but I'll like the compatibility on Xbox

I went from xbox360 to ps4 back to xbox1 and bow seriesX.

The game pass for Xbox is pretty cool plus it networks easily with my PV and reads most media I have on it. Ps4 I couldn't get it talking to any computer for media and found it was too much of a Sony echo system similar to how Mac has one for there products

I still play the crap out of my xbox One... and recently joined PC race... but still use my Xbox Gamepass ultimate. I get tons of joy from my Old VCR when friends come over and we play on my big 55' 4k TV.

I stream some "current gen" titles on the old boy sometimes but has still given me years of pleasure.

Don't have current Gen though
